Students of all ages and levels participate in one of 13 levels of musicianship, following the COLORADO STATE MUSIC TEACHERS ASSOCIATION COMPREHENSIVE GUIDELINES for Achievement Day. In addition to playing two pieces for another teacher, students can participate in a music-themed art show, take a theory test at their level, play music games and enjoy refreshments.

Unique to our Achievement Day is a Composer’s Corner, where videos of original student compositions are played throughout the day. Students completing the composing option may submit a video of their composition (TBA) and it will be added to a continuous loop of composition performances shown on TV in the composer corner of the arts and craft show.

For students in 7th grade and up and playing Achievement Day level 7 or higher, we also offer a TEEN PERFORMANCE CLASS.
